The architecture Enterprise and Technology team is a dynamic team of experts , supporting our business and IT colleagues to define a strategy and target architecture. Organizing things daily is not our forte and let’s be honest, most of us don’t really like it.

To support our department we are looking for a colleague with an extraordinary organizational talent to setup and maintain our Architecture Governance. Being the center of our department – you report to the head of Architecture – you will take care of the day to day organization of all architecture files, making sure that processes are put in place for architecture follow up and validation is in place from ideation phase until delivery. You like getting things organized in the correct tooling, making life day-to-day easy for the whole department – and finding solutions for all simple and repetitive tasks. You have the creativity to setup procedures, efficient organization and preparation of meetings – supported by a formal architectural framework (TOGAF).

As you have an IT background, you will also be managing real content such as management summaries of decisions and challenge architects in selling the ideas in a comprehensible story. Using your network in the company, you will promote the architecture vision within the company. This position is a perfect spot to get to know the whole company ’s architecture!

Set up Together architecture governance & processes (bank + insurance + subsidiaries where appropriate) (cfr Visio)
Organization of the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process
–planning, invitation, agenda, report, communication, follow-up of pending actions
–waiver management
–follow-up of documentation updates post ARB decision
–weekly + monthly ARB (MARB)
Prepare business forum on architecture (based on the MARB & IT Risk Committee)
Organization of the EUC Community
–planning, invitation, agenda, report, communication, follow-up of pending actions
–Bank + Insurance communities
Organization of the Customer Architecture Review Board/ PI-SQUARE (CARB) process
–planning, invitation, agenda, communication, follow-up of pending actions
Coordination to create / update the architecture strategy
Follow-up of projects
–The ideation process in TP
—-Assign Enterprise Architects (for scope maturity check & functional impact classification) and Technology Architects (for technical impact classification) to ideas
—-Follow-up of SLA (3 working days to assess functional/technical and security impact classification)
—-Formal go from Architecture towards idea owner
—-Support TP tooling (create/update views, represent Architecture towards TP owner : requirements for and testing of extensions),
–Capacity management process
—-Assist in capacity needs gathering
—-Follow-up of usage & evolution via reports for channels, MIPS consumption, server capacity,…
—-Manage Qlik reports on mainframe assets

Organization of informative vendor / product meetings

Coordination of the architectural input supporting the Tax incentive initiatives like the Payroll withholding tax exemption for researchers and the —-Innovation Income Deduction (IID)
–R&D classification of ideas during ideation process (e.g. assign R&D cluster)
–Periodic update of the innovation files (Qualifying file & Belspo)
Setup and administration of our tools like SharePoint, Confluence, Sparx, Hopex,…
–Assume data ownership (manage access requests, periodic access review in IIQ)
On-boarding of new team members
Follow-up of architecture training (documentation, recordings) to keep it up-to-date
Follow-up of infrastructure view to keep it up-to-date
Keep practical information up-to-date
Follow-up of subscriptions and reporting of conferences, seminars, product reviews…
Follow-up of time sheets (bank: TP, insurance: Clarity)
Make sure to have a backup in case of absence

Personal skills:
